Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 26, 2025  ยท  Last Updated: August 9, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Milena Pavlova ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Brusha mobile application ("Application"), available on Apple App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android).

By using the Application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data We Do NOT Collect

Brusha is designed with privacy in mind. We do NOT collect, transmit, or store on our servers:

The Application does not contain any analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or user tracking mechanisms.

1.2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The Application stores the following data exclusively on your device. This data is never transmitted to us or any third party:

This data is stored using the operating system's standard local storage mechanisms (UserDefaults on iOS, SharedPreferences on Android, and the app's private document directory). It remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the Application.

2. Third-Party Services (Platform Providers)

While we do not collect or process your personal data, the platform providers through which you download and use the Application do process certain data as part of their services.

2.1 Apple (iOS)

When you use Brusha on iOS, the following Apple services may process your data:

Apple's Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

2.2 Google (Android)

When you use Brusha on Android, the following Google services may process your data:

Google's Privacy Policy: google.com/policies/privacy

3. In-App Subscriptions

Brusha offers optional premium subscriptions:

Pricing is set by Apple's/Google's own regional pricing tiers and varies by country/region and currency โ€” there is no single fixed price. The exact price for your account is always shown in the Application before purchase.

All subscription transactions are processed exclusively by Apple (via App Store) or Google (via Google Play). We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details.

Subscription management (cancellation, renewal, refunds) is handled through your Apple ID or Google Account settings, in accordance with the respective platform's policies.

4. Permissions

The Application requests the following device permissions:

4.1 Photo Library Access (iOS and Android)

4.2 Storage Access (Android)

4.3 Internet Access (iOS and Android)

The Application does NOT request access to:

5. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data from any users, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has somehow provided personal information through the Application, please contact us at the email address below so we can address your concern.

6. Data Retention

Since we do not collect or transmit any user data to our servers, there is no data retention period on our side.

Data stored locally on your device persists until you:

7. Data Security

All user data remains on your device and is stored using the operating system's built-in secure storage mechanisms. The Application itself does not transmit your artwork, settings, or any personal data over the internet โ€” its only network use is loading subscription pricing and verifying Premium status via Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing (see Section 4.3).

Subscription transactions are secured by Apple's and Google's respective payment infrastructure, which use industry-standard encryption and security measures.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

For residents of California (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or share your personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by the CCPA.

For residents of the European Union (GDPR): Since we do not collect or process personal data, the data processing provisions of the GDPR do not apply to our Application. However, the platform providers (Apple and Google) are independent data controllers for the data they collect, and their GDPR compliance is governed by their own privacy policies.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

If we make material changes that affect your rights, we will provide notice through the Application or other appropriate means.
